Frastrated

I have pay my account no update on my credit score, I was contacted last week and I was told dat they did update dat I made the payment, however my score is still the same a white lady call me n told me dat even if I have made the payments my credit score will never change I must have atleast 2 account and make sure I pay them monthly so that my credit score can change I mean, how do I get 2 account while my score is down I can't be approved anywhr, will I ever get help from transunion?
