Hustled and ******
I used to think that TMR was honest and fair. What a rude awakening. I took my vehicle for a faulty 4th cylinder, which I specifically told them to look into. They indicated that they would perform a diagnostic for R680, which was fine, and call me for the quote thereafter. I received no call with an update, just a call to say they are done and it will cost R3400. Woah! They told me that they HAD TO check all the electrical and piping. But found no problems. And only thereafter checked the 4th cylinder as originally instructed to find a faulty spark plug. I asked them why didn't they simply do what I asked, to which there was no explanation, just a simple "no money, no car". I am really disappointed because I pointed to the problem and didn't receive at least a courtesy call to say the diagnostic revealed nothing. Guess it's all about hustling people now.
