PORTNET/TRANSNET disabling SMME's due to bribes taken from ship owners

<p>After importing on average 30 containers a year for the last 11 years PORTNET Durban is now at its lowest performance. It takes 4-5 days to release a conatiner with no weather conditions!! In the past it was 2 days. When enquiring why..I was told that the port staff are paid bribes by ship owners to 1st empty the ship so that it can leave the port and then to only start releasing containers!</p>
