BACKPAYMENT OF BOOKING

Good morning i was booked at Unta ( VOETPLAATPARK CARAVAN PARK) South coust from 19.12.2020 till 30.12.2020 we paid the full amount and not only the deposit as required . They are not pet-friendly and we new it and booked our pet at a pet hotel in Port Shepstone. The place was a mess and we couldn't left our pet there. we had to book at a other place and went to Voetplaatpark to explain the situation. according to them, we lose everything we paid in . My point is this. If i had only paid in the deposit and not the full amount i would have lost that. witch is fine with me.why after i paid in everything still have to lose everything hope you can help me
