STAY AWAY!!

I contacted Mr. Johan van Wyk, from Tranquil Patios and Water Features [URL Removed] to replace a patio roof in April 2014. Mr. van Wyk was hardly ever onsite. His staff were left to work without supervision.<br> <br> Mr. van Wyk told his staff to build custom skylights for the ceiling, as the previously quoted, shop bought skylights, were too small. I was assured that the custom skylights would not leak or present any problems. <br> <br> Within the first 6 months after installation, the roof around the skylights began leaking. I phoned Mr. van Wyk to come and sort this out. He told me that his team was working on the other side of Johannesburg when I phoned, but that he would have the problem seen to as soon as he could. Weeks passed and I heard nothing from him. <br> <br> Since then, I have spent the past year and a half phoning Mr. van Wyk - asking him to come and fix the leaking roof. To date, he has not made good on ANY of his empty promises, which has resulted in the ceiling sagging - causing extreme mildew. <br> <br> I contacted him again this morning and received the same story, \I will have someone phone you back.\" <br> <br> Be warned of poor workmanship and aftermarket care.
