Terrible experience @ trailarent centurion

Rented a trailer on 18/01. No faults or notes on pre inspection.

First red flag was when I was told if I can't drop off the trailer before 16h30 I would have to bring the following day, even though they close at 5pm.

Upon return inspection I was informed that I had finished the brakes of the trailer and would have to replace. I was also informed that this wouldn't be covered in the waiver. I had to wait for their in house mechanic to arrive who immediately corroborated the finished brakes story, even before inspecting the trailer.

Due to the fact that there was no prior inspection of the brakes and my limited mechanical knowledge, I had to pay for the brakes as they would not let me leave without.

I fail to understand how brakes could wear out in the space of a day.
