Unpaid claim

I have a service plan with Traffic insurance.On the 3rd of August they refused to pay the service saying my contract with them has expired on the 16th of July, Inever been told or get an email that my contract (service plan)with them has expired.I knew that it will end when the mileage is 45000,my car is still on 42000km.

I called them 3 times the consultants were hanging up my calls,I kept on calling until they spoke to me and he said according to their policy any that comes 1st the policy expires and I didn't know.Their last debit oder was on the 1st of August that's why I thought my contract with them its still valid.Their 1st debit oder was on the 1st of September 2018 so I thought my contract is ending on the 1st of September 2021.

They took my money but refused to pay why
