Claim rejected due to too many EXCLUSIONS. Which in real world it's impossible to achieve..
I have never taken dent and scratches policy before since ever due to lack of them approving claims as they always come with stories. When I purchase my current car in March last year it was added by the dealer. Guess what, I accidentally bumped into a wall and have a bumper scruff due to that. While stressed I then remembered that I received few info regarding dent and scratches when I purchased the car. Called Traficc explain to the consultant what happened and was sent a form to fill together with their list of panelbeaters and unfortunately the only one around my area is no longer in operation, so had to find another panelbeater of my choice and submitted everything. I was later asked to send more pictures “Why?” which I did and guess what. They rejected my claim because the work needs painting (for the same limit of R1500) and they don’t cover for paint work, only minor scratches i.e. cosmetics which require polishing the area only. I can spend the R1500 to buy equipment to polish the entire car so why will I need to purchase your product if that’s what I’m covered for only, the story of centimeters or millimeters is ancient story “remove it”. You buy a cover to be assisted in time of need and not to be taken back to BC “Before Christ”, worst of it I was told the cover limit is R1500 and if I’m quoted more it's for my own pocket. But still rejects my claim or is it because the panelbeater did beat your limit.
This is straight forward, cancel my policy and refund me my money that’s all.
