Avoid Traficc! Waste of money! Does not cover anything!

We signed up for a mechanical breakdown warranty (WESTVAAL GROUP SUPER COVER V16 WARRANTY (L405) when we purchased a preowned caravell with my wife in March 2024. To cut the long story short, we tried claiming twice from the policy and both claims were declined, reason being “components quoted are not listed as covered components by the policy in place.” Claim 1 was for washer bottle for wipers - not covered Claim 2 (most recent) was for front shocks and car hooter. This claim also was declined because the policy doesn’t cover car shocks and hooter, but only covers “Pneumatic Shocks(Air ride)” and not just any shocks, as listed in their policy. Car horn doesn’t fall under any of the listed items quoted, even under “electronic component or alarm/immobilizer”.

To me, i believe this is the biggest waste of money and would advise anyone thinking about signing up with them to NOT do it as they seem to not cover much of the “standard” components cars use. I understand that unfortunately that’s my fault for not probing further before signing up, but to save anyone the headaches going forward, DO NOT sign up with them. Rather save your money and yourself the trouble and look for another service provider that deals with standard everyday car components, and not “Pneumatic Shocks(Air ride)”.
