Why must I lie!

I recently moved to Limpopo and needed to change my registered address for my motor vehicles. This happened without a hitch, if you discount the fact that the Natis system was down for 2 hours and I had to wait!<br> Since 3 of my vehicles have the old Pink or Blue Certificate of Registration documents and I want to sell them I asked for new Registration documents.<br> I was given forms to fill in and told it will cost R620 per document!<br> On reading the forms, one of which is an Affidavit, it became apparent that the Affidavit requires me to attest to the fact that I have lost the original document! I DON'T THINK SO!<br> I refuse to swear to a lie. The original documents issued to me were valid at the time and are now supposedly no longer valid by dint of new Legislation. The replacements should be issued free of charge since I am still in possession of the originals.
