Traffic ticket
Dear Peter

On Friday 10th I was travelling from Bloemfontein to Dewetsdorp on the R702. At no point did I exceed the 120km/h speed limit. As I was about to turn off the main road a traffic cop indicated that I should slow down(he never indicated that I should stop. As I was slowing down anyway I drove past as he was fining another vehicle. As I drove into town he stopped me and said that I was speeding.

I asked him how fast I was going and what equipment he used to determine my speed, and he rep**** in front of a witness that he estimated my s did not know.

Then, he brought up a very personal matter which is none of his business and totally unprofessional. How bizarre.

Furthermore, I asked him to converse in English as I only speak broken South- Sotho which he refused. At this point he became condescending and shouted at me. He then said he doesn't like my attitude and the fact that I crossed a yellow line he now is going to fine me. This is complete untrue and the only reason why he felt he could fine me. The fine was for a R1000 rand. To add insult to injury he said that he could lip-read whilst driving that I swore at him. NOT TRUE!

Please help Peter?
