Traffic register

I app**** for a traffic register in September last year. Part of the process involves verification of my permit if it is original. The process is said to take between 1 - 3 months. It has been 6 months now and there is no sign that anything has happened. I app**** one week after my friend and she got hers in February. I assumed that the processing time would be more or less the same. I went there to check, and I was given a pile from which to check from for permit verifications. There is no communication whatsoever to prove that the process is moving.<br> <br> 1. Even if someone sets of on foot to walk to VFS from Struandale, it will take them less than 6 months to have the verification process completed<br> 2. Someone is not doing their job somewhere. 6 months is too long to wait for anything. The department must charge for this service if that is any impetus to speed up people doing their job<br> 3. If the verification process takes that long, allow clients to do it themselves. Even with delays, it will take less than 6 months for me to get verification from the VFS <br> 4. It is a requirement of the law for me to have a traffic register. Please assist me abide by the law<br> <br> How much more waiting?
