Traffic Officer Goes Beyond The Call of Duty - Traffic Services Worcester

We had an unfortunate car breakdown in Worcester on the 19th of Dec. We were standing along the road and it was getting dark, with the main concern being our safety at the time, strange town and all. We reached out to SAPS, which was a total waste of time ( cannot say we were suprised considering SAPS's reputation, or rather lack thereof. Worcester Traffic Department however went beyond their call of duty, in particular Traffic Officer Mr. LOOTS. Mr loots informed us he had driven past the 1st time and noticed our vehicle, and when he returned he noticed the same vehicle with it's hazard lights on. He immediately came to us to inquire what was the issue. We informed him the story, and within minutes he had connected us with a tow truck and contact person of the area, supported us throughout that time whilst waiting with us obviously our safety was his main concern, which was not the case with SAPS unfortunately. He also saw that we had contact with the guesthouse for the night, him and the ower of One Way Towing - Boeta. I would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciate to Officer Loots. You most certainly showed us that traffic services were not just there for writing up fines but they care for the safety of the people as well. Can't say the same for their other peers though, SAPS Worcester. Mr Loots thank you for being a divine helper and I extend this to the rest of your peers at the traffic department of Worcester.
