Traffic Officer Arrogance (Ignorance)

Today a traffic officer is standing at my car and starting to write me a ticket for an expired vehicle licence - I told him I already renewed it and paid and I showed him proof of renewal and payment on my email. I am still waiting for them to post it so me - there is a big delay on their side. He said that's not his problem and I can go and attest this at the traffic department. I find it astounding that he continues writing the fine after he full well saw the email from the City of Cape Town showing that it was successfully renewed. Now I have to take time off from work to go stand in a queue because a traffic officer chose ignorance and arrogance.
