Traffic Department caused me stress and money

My name is Nthabiseng on the 29/07/2022 I received a traffic fine invoice of R300 fine Area:Carltonville from my email ticket no. CV/*** offense date: 17/06/2022. I started panicking because all my life I've never been to Carltonville thinking of all worsed case scenarios on cloned number plates. First thing that came to my mind was that my car's registration number was cloned as per tickets. Went to my nearest police station to report it they referred me to the traffic department. On the 02/08/2022 I went to meyerton traffic department they couldn't assist as they said it was not from they area (Meyerton)and referred me to Carltonville traffic department which is 91km from my place. The next day I drove to Carltonville traffic department 91 Km, when I got there I said I'm suspecting that my registration number is cloned as per the above statement the gentlemen who assisted me said no it was typo error this things happen. What frustrates me is how light he took, while I on my side I had sleepless thinking what my registration number would be used for ******** acts. I need this to be addressed with the data captured and I wanna be compensated from petrol money for making all this trip for their mistakes. I was also off work because this matter
