ticket for parking on line that's barely visible

last year I parked on sport road at Tygervalley virgin active. It was winter and raining. I did not see a line along the pavement. I received a ticket. I then took a photo and sent it to the traffic department. The very next day the lines were re painted. As far as I'm concerned that is an admission that lines were barely visible. <br> I received an SMS to say they had halved the amount payable. I then emailed a second time to say that this was still not good enough. And again sent a picture. Still no response.
