Metro police above the law

At Lakeside Spar in Richards Bay on Saturday 20 Jan 2018 a metro police vehicle was parked in a loading zone parking.. They are very quick at issuing tickets to the public if the tables were turned.. What makes them above the law???? They were not parked doing duties but instead were SHOPPING!!! What happens with them as they are also violating the law?????
