Dissatisfaction with treatment
I went to Civic center Cape Town for renewal of car licence disk in 26August 2020. I went to renew the licence disks and was in the line was assisted quickly but because it was for my son and I did not have time he permission letter from my son I was Told what to bring back on 28th August 2020 unfortunately I could not go that day but returned on 31st August. I explained to four security personnel and showed them the return slip explained why I could not return on 28th. I explained that I work in ICU and had to work the same night they refuse to let me go in I had to tow the line. Later the day the line managers from municipality let other people in with return slips in it was after one i finished at the Municipality Traffic department at two from 7:30 the morning the Municipality personnel at the pay point was excellent. My complain is with Municipality giving the security personnel authority to decide who is helped when and whose explanation have merits. I'm disappointed I'm a Registered nurse working in ICU and went the extra mile for the patients in covid19 ward and was on duty throughout the peak and was treated like that by security personnel. They can at least have a municipality official at entrances and deciding about admission criteria as well as we were standing in lines from 7:30 until 14:30.Its long standing for all that time and I had to go home and get ready for night duty again.
