Defamation of character/slandering and unfair fail

Today at Beaconvale Traffic Department Parow my daughter Kaylin Steyn ID....... , did her driver’s license testing at 8am.

The officer Mr "Willie"took Kaylin for testing and he was extremely bombastic, nevertheless the testing started and she did all her parking, She and another person was testing at the same time- this person had another traffic officer ( coloured dark of complexion officer)

The two officers were chatting away, and then as Kaylin was going to do her last parking she did not indicate and the officer said and I quote “ die ***ken meit sittie eers haar indicators aan nie” . Kaylin continued her parking and Willie instructed her to stop at the stop street and said to her “ indicate links” to go out on the road , which she did and as she pulled away, because of nervousness of the rude and crude manner she was handled on the testing , she was beyond nervous,- her car switched off. He then in the bombastic manner he presents himself, said “ dan gaan regs jy druip!” .

Kaylin did not roll her car at the stop street in the yard or go against the curb- her car just switched off and he failed her.

I am logging a complaint again both these officers for: 1. The coloured traffic officer – FYI He tested Kaylin before and he is the one who told her on that day he tested her “ do you wanna pass- pass or do you wanna pass” and she said I want to pass the legal way.

• Defamation of character – calling my daughter a meit • Slandering/ and swearing

2. Mr Willie • Victimisation and bullying/illtreating violating her human right to be treated with respect and dignity – shouting at her and adding to her being nervous as it is with any test. • Unfairly failing her just because he is in a bad mood

Sir, my daughter is in a state for the way she has been treated today by these two officers, firstly being a learner driver is hard enough and daunting enough and then still to be faced with such unproffessionilsm and treatment. The insult of calling her a “meit” – he doesn’t know her to be calling her anything but Ms Steyn as any professional person would do.

Mr Willie should know better than to be screaming and shouting at learners – its not his place –she isnt a ********, and even ********* have rights.

My daughers human rights in more levels than one has been violated and I want this matter be dealth with. This could leave her scared to never want to drive again, is this impression we want to give our society our youth that is is okay to be mistreated by the Law.
