Bad service at Stellenbosch Traffic Department

<p>We as a dealership has been trying to register a new car at Stellenbosch Traffic Department but been unsuccesfull for very odd reasons. First we have to drive all the way from Cape Town to Stellenbosch just to be sent back empty handed. At first they did not want to accept our Company invoice to register the car because of the "date " of the invoice which is irrelevant to the transaction. We register cars daily in Cape Town ( same procedure ) and do not face any problems!! Then when we call them and want to speak to the person handling the transaction at Stellenbosch Traffic Department to explain the invoice the person refuses to talk to us . Cannot even talk to a manager??? Then they accept guaranteed cheques, cash or credit cards. Our driver wanted to pay with a company cheque signed with 2 signatures ( guaranteed ) and they refuse to accept the Company Cheque.?? The value of the car we want to register is in excess of R 5 mil and the amount for the registration is a mere R 750. I am sure this would have passed smoothly if some of our expensive merchandise was gifts to the person at hand. Unfair that any brand should be treated this way by an admin cler****</p>
