Nigel Traffic Department

I booked two drivers license renewal slots online for my husband and I on a Thursday afternoon for the following Tuesday at Nigel Traffic and Licensing department. Upon reading some of the reviews online, I was not sure how the appointment/s would fair. As such, I went prepared for the long haul, snacks, water a book etc. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire process which took a total of 45min from arrival to departure - I should mention that we had our eye test results in preparation for the appointment along with all other necessary paperwork.

My comments are, firstly, some of the staff were not terribly friendly (neither here nor there), secondly, there is no information online to advise they do not accept cash, I feel this should be part of the booking process and finally, they do not accept pre-printed and completed forms, they will only accept the green forms which are available at the facility. The department should remove the downloadable/printable forms option from their online portals as this is a waste of time and paper for those, like myself who select this option. (this however has no bearing on the service received from the Nigel Traffic department - just a suggestion from my side.)
