Do not buy Gautrain tickets online

I bought a weekly ticket online on the 6th of October(10 trips)the money left my account but when I was using my card on the turnstiles it said “invalid” and I was then told to claim a refund on the website, I had to buy another weekly ticket for me to get home…what was going to happen if I did not have enough money? Please fix your system.
