Trafalgar in Pretoria pushing uncessary painting project bill on Sandolien Complex owners

Trafalgar in Pretoria continue to push for implementation of a painting project bill despite more than thirty owners request to both trustees and Trafalgar to suspend the project due to number of reasons including costs and the fact that the building is in good state.

Trafalgar deliberately misled owners by misinterpreting the New Sectional Title Act as requiring us to immediately paint the complex it still in good state. Now we must pay R720,000 for painting project despite refusal by Trafalgar to give us scope of the project and also how the current painting contractor was choosen.

Trafalgar places a top priority on client service excellence and will make every effort to rectify your concerns as quickly and effectively as possible. We will investigate the issues and your concerns immediately and endeavour to respond to you during the course of this week.

Good afternoon,
I have spoken to our Pretoria branch and it was confirmed that this matter is at the Community Scheme Ombud Service for conciliation between some concerned owners and the Trustees. The date for the conciliation meeting has not been announced yet.
The matter was referred to CSOS on 20 February 2017 - Advocate Pather is the contact person.
No action is currently being taken on any of the “arrear levy accounts”., of owners who were part of the “action” taken.
We have tried phoning the you on the number given, but it remains engage, Shereen will try again later.
Kind regards
