Trafalgar are a bunch of dishonest bullies! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM

Since the day we and I move into the flat that we rent from Trafalgar there has been one issue after another. To say we have been disappointed with the service would be a gross understatement.

The first year we move in we informed the agents of a mould problem, they brought in a contractor to address the issue with the "quick fix" solution of repainting the wall rather than treating the source.

A year later the problem in 100 times worse. This is not providing a healthy living environment for either of us, but specifically my boyfriend who suffers from asthma.

Never-mind the fact that the mould is destroying our property. It is now in our curtains, all leather items, our wooden furniture... the list goes on.

We have notified Trafalgar that we would like to end out lease early due to the fact that this property is unsafe. They have responded notifying us that the can give twenty working days’ notice, however if they do not find a new tenant to move in we will be liable to pay the rent for that month. We cannot afford to pay rent for two properties.

How are we supposed to find a tenant when the bedroom roof is covered in mould and the house smells damp? How can they feel ok with renting this property out when it is in this condition?
