Seriously mismanaging funds
Serious mismanagement of funds. Almost every year or two we are told that the Body Corporate is insolvent and that levies need to be increased. Increases happen without consultation with the Body Coroporate, and owners are merely informed.
Access to Trustees are blocked - with Trafalgar appointing them and then refusing to disclose the names of the trustees. Trustees should be appointed by the Body Corporate to act in the best interests of the Body Corporate.
Exorbitant Levies - levies are now around R4000 for a 2 bedroom apartment, yet the maintenance in the complex does not reflect this. Property is very poorly maintained. These ridiculous levies are clearly not being used for the maintenance of the properties. We were also notified only 2 weeks before the end of the month of the levy increase. No AGM was held where this was discussed and agreed.
Trafalgar regularly created fictitous debts and then provides loans, which the "trustees" approve without consultation with the Body Corporate.
