Rental Agent going on leave and not bothering to follow up applications.

<p>We had viewed a rental property as advertised by the Agent Debbie at Trafalgar Durban Rentals. She didnt show us the place but got the tenant to show it to us. We were happy with the property and we communicated this to her. She said she would be on leave for a week and will get Pearl to send the forms. We filled the forms in and sent them back. I told her how much we want the place and our credit checks were clear. She said that only when she gets back from leave she will sort everything out and not to worry as I mentioned that we need to finalise and she is on leave for a full week so we cannot be in limbo as it is stressing us out. I called her when she finally came back from leave and she tells me the place is taken and another Trafalgar colleague already got it filled. This is absolutely unacceptable and ********* business practice. I don't know how your agent expects to keep customer service when she doesn't really seem to want the business and cannot bother informing her colleagues that people have viewed the place first and she has indicated that all will be fine just send through papers. Really a time waster and I will make sure this is publicised as we went through a lot of stress waiting for her to get back from leave as she promised it to us. </p>
