No dstv connection at Acacia Park
It was the most exciting news when we heard that our application for a new development apartment through Trafalgar has been approved. However since the first day we moved in there has been problems, the one problem that still persists is the dstv connection that was said would be easy to do and free of charge. After two days of calling after the people and wasting my airtime, one of the guys came to "connect" the decoder...he then says, "oh I see you have an explora and for that you need a multi switch (never communicated to us prior) and this will cost R800-R900. I was so devastated, I mean I paid my dstv account and everything was good on my end only to get told that I cannot watch it until I make a plan for the multi switch. To date no one has come back to me, I have to call every and keep my fingers crossed that today is the day my dish is connected. When I escalated this to the maintenance and letting agent, I was just told that they are trying to sort it out and that the people tht does the diah connections have been a problem since and that they have been escalated... That was suppose to make me feel better I guess. I feel so helpless at this point because no one not even Trafalgar is taking responsibility and this is really very disappointing.
