Misconduct
When I informed Thembeka Ngubane,the girl that works at accounts, that I'll pay my April rental on the 1st of April she was so rude I cannot even describe her conduct. So now I must change the date I'm getting paid to accomodate her, who does she think she is? This is not her father's business, she is an employee and she must not forget who puts her food on the table by paying their rent. When she wrongly charged me interest in January when it was still around the 20s I didn't not make an issue or complain, so just because I was civil it does not make I must be treated like dirt. If her conduct is motivated by thinking that certain race is inferior to other races, she must 1st look at herself in the mirror. I will not tolerate her conduct under any circumstances and she dare tries to undermine me again she has another thing coming.

27 Mar 2019, 13:141 Oslo court, 302 Montpellier road. Also note that in the latest invoice she has billed for vacate letter x6. I don't understand what is x6 for because she sent me 1letter,even if it was 6times it's not my problem she decided to send of which anyway she didn't send me 6. I still didn't get clarity what is going to happen with the utilities fee that I paid upfront before I could use it.
I enquired about this when I moved in and again in the complaint about the break-in/burglary but this get ignored

Response from our Durban branch:
We are not sure why the tenant is referring to 6 letters? On the 6th March her March rental had still not been paid so we sent her a joint demand/lease cancellation letter on that date. One letter was sent dated 6th March. A follow up letter advising procedure to take when vacating was sent to her yesterday, 26 March. Her eft payment made on the 25th March but only reflected after the letter had been sent.
Tenants at this property are billed with a fixed monthly utility charge. As is the case with rental, this is paid in advance and not in arrears. Rental and utilities are paid at the beginning of the month for that month.
As far as the burglary is concerned, the tenant has opened a case with the South African Police and we cannot get involved in a police matter.

27 Mar 2019, 18:48So if the utilities deposit is paid in advance that means it is also paid back when a person leaves like the rental? With regards to break-in I think you misunderstood me I was saying I enquired about the utilities deposit same time with the break-in.

Response from the branch:
The tenant paid one deposit which includes utilities and this will be refunded with interest at the end of her tenancy providing there are no arrears on the account and no damages to the unit.
