LEAKING GEYSER SINCE LAST YEAR!!!
Good day,
I am a tenant at Old Nedbank Building unit 419, I have had a geyser problem since last year and i have reported this matter to the caretaker countless times and i was always told to take a picture of a leaking geyser( how that is supposed to happen, i dont know). The leaking ended up becoming serious last year November and the caretaker came to the flat to check it and i was told that it will take time to be fixed because the geysers are ordered from Durban and not anyway in JHB (why DBN it still puzzles me even now). On the 8th i called the Trafalgar offices and spoke to Richard and told him the story and he promised to call me back, same day i asked the caretaker again what is the progress he told me that Trafalgar offices are still closed and they will be open on the 14th( doesnt make sense to me because same day i spoke to Richard from the Trafalgar offices but he tells me that the offices are still closed). I called Richard again on the 9th and he apologised for not calling me back and promised to call after 5 minutes. Sent an email same day and the email was forwarded to Thobile to assist until i called again yesterday(9th) and asked to speak to her and she said she will call me back as well and minutes later sent me an email "I hereby acknowledge receipt of your email,I have sent an email to an owner I am awaiting his response.". and i have not had anything from her or Richard even now.
What frustrate me the most is that now i am unable to leave the house for more than 24 hours or else i will found the house full of water, i literally have to empty a 5 litre bucket, in the morning before i leave for work and as soon as i get home again. That is now my routine, My couch now has a bad smell from all the water from the geyser and underneath the geyser there is a wooden cupboard and now it is damaged because of all that water. Can i get this sorted out please because my stuff is getting ruined everyday by all this and there is no one who is even taking this serious at all. I have sent pictures to the caretaker when i got home and there was water all over the place and he also has the pictures of the geyser as well and the condition thats in at the moment.
Thank you
The maintenance is dealt with by the Caretaker and the owner and not Trafalgar - but there seems to have been a communication error between the Caretaker and the owner regarding your unit. Our Innercity office assures me that the new geyser will be there by Monday.
