************s and arrogant

Trafalgar charged me 3K for debt collection besides engaging them and making commitments to pay which I followed up and cleared in 3 payments the account by within 6 weeks of making that commitment.

I am taking them to the omudsmen and should be exposed. Consumers in arrears still have rights

Good morning,

Can you please email me more details - like your unit number and the name of the complex - in order for us to investigate this.

Kind regards

I have emailed you the communication with your agent Anna Van Vuuren.

Good day,

Our In house Collections attorney - Elwin Els - had a look at the account and was requested to contact you in this regard.

The feedback in the meanwhile is that the fees concerned pertain to legal fees external to Trafalgar; failure to sign a written payment arrangement notwithstanding 7 follow-ups delayed the closure of the legal collection thereby incurring the legal fees.

Please do approach the attorney of record for any queries concerning their legal fees.

Kind regards

Karien Coetzee

Karien,

It's either Elwin did not read my email or deliberately ignored the contents.

Trafalgar acts as a debt collector and is required to send me 1) the statement and 2) notice to hand over my account to attorneys.

Both did not happen. Anna admitted in an email that whilst she was sending me emails directly the system generated statements/emails were sent to a wrong address (misspelt email add).

I demonstrated my commitment to pay by following up on statements on several times.

I will exercise my right to complain to DCC and CSOS.
