Eugene Britz - *********** estate manager

After numerous requests to someone who has stated on numerous occasions that he is over qualified for the position of estate manager, I have to share that judging by this individuals behavior, he possibly needs to think twice about self proclaiming that he is over qualified for his position of estate manager.

On 2 separate occasions I have had the misfortune of having to deal with Eugene Britz. Not only is he rude and feels that it is appropriate to use foul language directed at home owners when speaking on the phone but clearly has some anger issues that need to be dealt with. Perhaps some training on basic functions within our estate could go a long way too.

Whilst trying to get Eugene to deal with a legitimate issue that I have been experiencing for around 4 years, Eugene's attitude was simply to shout at me and share how tired he is of fixing problems in our estate instead of taking the time to understand what the issue is about and doing his job and attempting to resolve the issue. After about 4 or 5 phone conversations, it became blatantly obvious that he simply isn't competent enough to solve the problem I was trying to get sorted out.

The most recent dealing with him should have been a simple problem to fix but in true Eugene style, it took 6 days to solve. I traveled overseas from the 4th April and requested that my number be removed from the access system due to the time difference. My formal request to add our house sitters number as the primary contact for access control was sent through well in advance accompanied by the documentation that was required. Upon my arrival, I had personal access but could request access codes for visitors or service providers nor could security get in touch with me to grant access to any of my visitors. After battling with this for 3 days I sent an email on Tuesday 23rd April at 18h05 with a request, I received Eugene`s professional response "will do" at Wednesday 24th April at 08h23. After sending another request on the 25th April I eventually received a response on the 26th April stating "Please note the dialling list has been updated as per your request". After sending another email and subsequently being forced to phone Click On (the access control service provider) I was told that the only person authorized to access our estate access permissions was the one and only Eugene Britz. Finally on the 29th April, I received an email stating that the access has been updated

How can it take a so called "manager" 6 DAYS to resolve what should be as simple as clicking a button? Eugene Britz caused a massive inconvenience by being so *********** and I truly hope that anyone reading this will think twice about employing him. Our estate WhatsApp communication group is filled with complaints of how bad his service and attitude is.

Good afternoon,

The matter was escalated to the ST Manager and one of our Directors and the feedback received was as follows:

The estate management guidelines in resolving queries are clear and the time frames from receiving a query till resolution was met in this case.

Kind regards

I would have not expected anything less. It is rather entertaining to witness how a "procedural guideline" can be app**** to suit certain individuals. What is even more entertaining is the fact that you are able to confidently make such a claim without knowing all the facts or chain of events(thanks for not reaching out via email of phone call to understand the issue in a little more detail) Thank you for being so bias against the CUSTOMER once again. Trafalgar would get better reviews if you were taught that it is OK to say "sorry, we messed and will ensure it doesn't happen again" on the odd occasion when justified, instead of applying your company wide narcissistic attitude when customers complain about poor service delivery.
