I would just like to express my disgust at Trafalgar. 2 years ago we had a burst geyser and had to pay R3000 excess which is practically the price of of a new geyser. We now have a leaking pipe. I called trafalgar on the 22 August and was told by Lauren our portfolio manager that the leaking pipe was covered and someone will be sent out in the week. I called back today 3 weeks later because no one had come out as yet and was told by Rica in the claims department that the the pipe is NOT covered and we have to pay the plumbers ourselves an amount of R2900 and also R3000 excess for the damage to our cupboards? What are we paying insurance for if the amounts we have to pay in excess is probably less than we have would have to pay if we did it out of our own pockets. What are we paying levies for then? I think this is disgusting! You people should be ashamed of yourselves for ripping people off the way you do! God forbit you pay your levies late by one day then you get charged interest for that too but when we need you guys to help us then you never come through. This is not the first time we have issues with trafalager and as seen with all the complaints you guys have seems like I'm not the first one to feel this way either. You people are suppose to make things easier and HELP run things efficiently but all you do is cause UPSET. I am livid at this.
