Appalling and disgusting service from Trafalgar Property Management JHB

I cannot begin to tell you how I regret giving Trafalgar Property Management the mandate to manage my property. They not even deserving of a rating let alone a star. Be weary , their staff change contract clauses in the lease without informing you, are negligent with inspections, they don't care about your interest and refund tenant deposits without holding them responsible for damages. I went through a year and a half of pure he'll even reported their ********* behaviour to the Estate Agency Affairs Board. The MD authorised an expense even though it was clearly stated in the lease that it was for the tenant. After repeated emails to Trafalgar to stick to the lease terms, they proceeded behind my back and arranged for an "unregistered" contractor to take care of the repair which could have ended up in a disaster. Faulty wiring caused overheating and could have caused a fire. This affected electricity readings to spike and ultimately I lost two tenants because of Trafalgars carelessness . The tenant accused me of placing his kids lives in danger and I had no clue what Trafalgar did behind my back. In the debt recovery process, they tell the tenant to pay what he feels which is in complete contradiction to the terms in the lease. If you think your investment is safeguarded by a lease, think again as these people override the terms whenever they please. They change staff all the time, when I question errors on the statement, I get told they are new and I must be patient. Staff are ***********, careless and don't care, in fact even the MD does not even respond to my email. Make sure you check utility charges on tenant statement. They negligent in raising these charges and I end up correcting them many times. They are just bullies, watch out for the indemnity clause in the mandate, it allows them to do as they please which can be detriment to your investment. Watch out , they are *********s! I feel so relieved now after withdrawing from their service.....Trafalgar go get your lunch money from somewhere else! Hope the EAAB can put an end to your ********* behaviour.
