Unhappy Consumer

I would like to log a formal complaint as I am not being provided with feedback on my grievances as I would like to raise a complaint against your company. A few months ago, I was contacted by your company Trading Markets where I was informed/ introduced to trading opportunity and agreed to a face to face consultation.

During our consultation, I was informed about the Company (Trading Markets) and introduced to an opportunity to learn about trading. During our engagement with their consultant by the name of Ntombi Diphoko I was told that the company will have to conduct a credit assessment to see whether I qualify which I consented to and I was informed that the company will provide training and once I am comfortable I can proceed on my own.

I was not informed by her nor the company that they charge R24 900 for their training services and that I will need to put a start-up capital to proceed. Upon my follow up, I was informed that the amount of R24 900.00 (which I found to be absurd) includes training and DVD which is something that was new to me. Further I was told that the amount stipulated will include a start up capital however I was not informed how much will be deposited into my trading account and I will not be debited of any amount once I start to see profits. Unfortunately I started to see a debit order against me and that’s when I raised the query with their office (CT International) however I was advised that I need to contact Trading Markets and raise my query with them as they sold the product to me. During my conversation with CT International I was further asked if there was any amount deposited into my trading account as they know that money is supposed to have been deposited to begin my trade. I informed them that there was no amount deposited and promised that they will also raise this with Trading Markets.
