STAY FAR AWAY FROM TRACY HARRIS PROPERTIES!!

The most appalling and unprofessional experience we have ever had with an estate agent. Constantly changing stories, contradictory information, shocking communication and incredibly rude and ***************** behaviour.

The seller’s supposed minimum price jumped by R160 000 within days. Tracy was also involved in the seller’s purchase of another property, which was dependent on the sale of this house. Considering the constantly increasing price we were being given, the entire situation left us seriously questioning what was going on. Items we were explicitly told were included (which we have on video) suddenly weren’t. Every conversation brought a different story.

When we initially tried to submit an Offer to Purchase, we were told, “We’re wasting our time here then”. To which the paperwork was grabbed away from me, and we were not allowed to complete our offer. When we said we had dealt with many estate agents before and understood our rights, we were told, “Then why don’t you go buy from them?” Absolutely disgusting way to speak to prospective buyers.

Yet AFTER another buyer submitted an offer, we were suddenly invited to submit a back-up offer at a substantially higher price.

When confronted about all the contradictions, Tracy said, “I do not want to get into debates with you.”

We walked away from a house we genuinely wanted because we had completely lost trust in Tracy and the way this transaction was being handled.

Our concerns will now be raised with the PPRA.

Absolutely disgraceful. Rude, dismissive and completely unprofessional. From what we have heard from friends and other agents, Tracy's reputation leaves much to be desired, as we experienced too. I would NEVER recommend Tracy Harris Properties. STAY FAR AWAY.
