Fuel Injection Pump

Triple L Plant Hire in Port Elizabeth bought a Fuel Injection Pump from Tracx Aftermarket Parts on the 20/03/2017. On the 28/03/2017 the pump was fitted on a Bell TLB 315 SJ. On the 14/07/2017 a call out was made as the TLB were cutting out/stalling. One of the Company's Mechanics went to the Site where the Bell TLB was and assisted the machine there. Clearing Computer fault codes on the Machine. The next day the 15/07/2017 the Machine did exactly the same. Once again our Mechanic went on Site to assist. The Machine stayed on Site. The Mechanic removed the fuel injection pump bought from Tracx Aftermarket Parts and fitted a fuel injection pump from one of our TLB's from our premises that was here for minor repairs. Once the pump were fitted on the Bell TLB 315 SJ, the Machine worked perfectly. This clearly shows that the fuel injection pump is faulty. Deon addressed Louw Kellerman who sold him the pump via e-mail and over the telephone about the faulty pump. Both parties agreed to get the pump tested to which Triple L Plant Hire were held responsible for the payment of this test and Courier cost. As per State Auto Diesel's report the fuel on the diesel pump is extremely low. We also have a report confirming this from State Auto Diesel. Deon mailed the letter and report from State Diesel to Louw from Tracx Aftermarket Parts. Louw requested that Deon send him the pump as he will use one of his own contact's to test the pump. The pump was couriered to Tracx Aftermarket Parts for testing again. Reef Fuel Injection Services tested the pump. On their report they also noted that the fuel pump has a low transfer problem and that the plungers on the head and rotor are worn and this could be caused by possible contamination, pro longed service life ect. Deon from Triple L Plant Hire requested a new pump or a refund as the pump is clearly faulty. Deon has send e-mails on e-mails trying to sort this pump out but Louw Kellerman is not replying to any of his e-mails. This pump only worked 3 months and to date nothing was resolved or answersed in connection with this faulty pump nor a refund. This pump is reconditioned by Tracx Aftermarket Parts and sold to us. Deon even mailed Louw requesting a report on what parts were used to reconditioned the pump. But up to now still no answer from the e-mails Deon send Louw. Triple L Plant Hire have all our documents and reports, e-mails ect to and from Deon and Louw. Please Hallo Peter, help us to solve this as our Machine is without a pump and this is costing our Company money.
