Wrongfully taken to debt collectors

Dear Hello Peter. I got a call from debt collectors on 14 February 2018 at my place of work claiming I owe tracker outstanding funds from alllergedly cancelled debit orders. I told the person from debt collectors my account with tracker is up to date and they debit me monthly for the tracker in my car. I then called tracker and they said my account is in order and I’ve never missed a payment. Later the same day, I got an sms message from the debt collectors saying tracker instructed them to collect the amount of R763.34 as I owe tracker. I went to a tracker center but they told me they only do fitments they can’t help me. I then called tracker on their line and spoke to a Makhosi Moyo who said he will talk to management about the issue but he needs 48-72 hours. He sent me an email confirming what he had promised telephonically and I was supposed to get a response from them on the 16 February 2018 but I’ve yet to get a response. Please help because I don’t owe tracker anything and my account is up to date, I’ve had a tracker in my car since October 2014 and my debits always go off on time to them. Regards Kgaogelo Molatjane
