Who or what is disconneted?

Once again you stymie me! Missed your call at 1853 today (when I say missed, there was no one speaking to me at your end so I cut it) but you did resort to my daughter with a voice message and also sent me an SMS at 1852 to advise “We received a battery disconnect notification for vehicle Y***xxGP …etc etc”. I was expecting that notification all day and don’t understand why it took you so long to inform me. Scenario: Yesterday afternoon (22nd) I left my cubbyhole lid open and thus the lightbulb in same continued to operate after I’d locked the car up for the night. This morning, I realised that the battery had fully drained overnight – couldn’t open with the remote and no current anywhere in the car after I turned the ignition key. Called out my battery man and approx 1130 today he loaded the battery from a power pack sufficiently enough to enable start up and departure to drive some 20/30 kms to fully charge the battery. So battery died some time during the night – approx 0200 seems a reasonable guess - and signal from the tracker unit to yourselves stopped. At 1130 the battery man did not disconnect he just attached power line from his power dragon clips and started downloading a charge in the battery. So, neither the total loss of power in the car during the night nor whatever the battery man did (or seems not to have down) triggered a notification to you but at 1852 something did. By that time the car had been locked up (with ignition off of course) in the garage for the night for about two hours already. So what triggered the 1852 notifications? Why did they not trigger appropriately during the night? What if my car was in a parking facility overnight and had been ****** ? What good is a disconnect notification some seventeen hours “after the event? BTW: if you check back in your HPO review records HP records you'll find my 13 September review in which I raised some issues. Despite some responses that the matter was being addressed, no on e ever came back to me and thus on my side that matter remains unresolved. Too late now but it does nothing for your reputation or to improve my very low level estimation of the company and the product

Hello. I received a call from your Warren for which, thank you. We had a long conversation out of which he undertook to escalate the failure to notify of the "battery disconnect" as a result of battery drainage overnight Tuesday/Wednesday, until 1852 Wednesday. Please pass the following on to Warren: I have reached the conclusion that the 1852 notification was not relevant to the Tuesday night battery depletion but was triggered at that time on Wednesday evening as notification of a second battery depletion after I had charged it up per a 40km highway drive earlier in the day. This means that with the car locked in the garage at approx 1300 Wednesday afternoon, same was draining for whatever reason until it went flat at around 1645. So, as I now see it, the issue is only the non-notification of the battery depletion/"disconnect" in the night Tues/Wed but which you told me would not be picked up if the tracker unit was in stand-by mode

OOPS! In my 1348 comment above and in third last line, please read the time as 1845 and not 1645
