Useless Skytrax device or assistance button

On Friday my wife's car failed in the middle of Tembisa and Midrand where it was dark and dangerous. Obviously she tried to figure what was with the car but it would not start. She then pressed your so called assist button and Tracker did not respond.They only called her yesterday out of the blue to ask if she is okay on Tuesday.I callled their helpdesk to find out why is that, they are telling me for the unit to be able to send a signal the car ignition needs to be on or 5 min after the engine was off. Which in my view the unit is useless because 5min to 30min is not enough time for one to start thinking of assistance especially if they were trying first to determine what is wrong with the car.<br> Even when the unit was first fitted no one even cared to explain the damn ignition needs to be on.<br> Thanks for nothing and selling me the illusion that my loved is safe on the road.<br> I will not be renwing the contract when it ends in September.
