Unreasonable contract cancellation fees

I would like to raise the issue of being bound to a 3 year contract. If your car is sold or no longer in your possession, you are still obliged to pay the monthly premium until the contract is over. I understand that i accepted this but I want to raise the issue in the process from getting insurance to usually being pressured by insurance companies to fit a tracking device otherwise you pay more on your premiums and then the tracking companies ties you into a 3 year contract just seems ********* to me. I have to now pay a ridiculous amount of R1200 for early cancellation. My gripe is that I think these 3 year contracts are silly. I am now with Kingprice which uses eBeam, and I found their cancellation fees and options to be much more reasonable and flexible and in fact up to 70% cheaper so is Trackers cancellation fees unnecessarily inflated. eBeams installation is also 15 minutes with no interference to your wiring. If you are shopping for tracking devices and insurances, I would really suggest not being pressured by insurance companies or tracking companies to take out senseless contracts like i did and I really don't think these 3 year contracts makes any sense.
