TRACKER - worse than useless - no concept of customer service
TRACKER must be the worst customer service in SA. They say that they've been around since 1996. You would have thought that in 30 years they might have learnt something. But no. I have been battling to get some sense from Tracker for months now. I've had only one positive response. where they promised to sort out the problem and even gave me a credit for 2 months as an apology, clearly accepting responsibility for their failure to perform. Then they did exactly the same thing again. I am phoned virtually daily by their call centre. Each time I ask to speak to a manager and each time 'he's on another call'. I ask that he phone me. IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED. Do they think we are idiots? Is this a call centre that doesn't actually have Tracker employees? They have stock answers - citing 'procedure' and ''protocol' and promising to have someone contact me. Nothing happens and the next day we go through the same run-around. I now strongly recommend to anyone on Tracker, or considering Tracker to look elsewhere. Clearly customers do not matter.
We have tried to contact your partner on the number provided and it is directing us straight to voicemail. We will try to call her again.

Tracker Connect
It's really pathetic.
When they phoned me, once again they wanted a security check - to arrange a booking - ridiculous. We agreed to correspond only by email.
An hour later they phoned my wife and subjected her to a 15 minute phone call where, once again, they wanted a security check. There's no logic.
My wife, who is the most patient and polite person in the world, eventually had enough.
Tracker has no sense of how to satisfy a customer, how to lean over backwards to make things right. They fall into their narrow procedural mode and totally p*** off the customer.
All of this is because THEIR device is faulty. All they need to do is replace it. Make a booking, arrive, replace and job done!
No, that's far to easy when you can make the customer's life miserable.
And, to add insult to injury, because it's a 'new' device, they want a new contract.
