Tracker refuses to cancel my policy

I have been with tracker connect since I bought my car in 2014/15. Their policy states that if you cancel within a period of 3yrs you will pay a cancellation fee. Late last year or beginning this year I upgraded my policy with tracker and took a better cover that enabled me to track my car from my phone. This year end of May I was involved in an accident and my car was written off so I called tracker to cancel my policy since I don't have a car anymore and they said I can't cancel unless I pay a cancellation fee of R1200 and if I can't pay they will continue debiting my account until 2024 for a tracker I am not even using. This to me feels like a **** and I feel ****** by a company I was so loyal to and always paid on time. I would never recommend them to anyone.
