Tracker neither responding meaningfully or resolving issues (Work # *** refers)
Work # *** refers On 13/6 I posted a negative review of your Tracker app in Google Play Store (GPS). This was after I had uninstalled same and was re-installing after an experience of being unable to activate via the app on Saturday 12th (And after re-installation, still no activation possible) Your response via GPS was: “This doesn’t seem right. We want to take a closer look at this for you. Please send a note to *** so we can connect No apology given for leaving me unprotected under the service for which I pay you and no information given as to how you are covering me during the failure period On 14th, I also posted a follow-up negative review in Hello Peter.co.za to which you responded on 15th with: “We are in receipt of your query and would like to thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. It is our intent to help you reach a prompt resolution of this matter. We will revert to you shortly. “Shortly” has come and gone and no revert yet On 14/6 I sent the requested email to your App Support Same day I received an acknowledgement email from Nonke Shabangu Platinum Desk Agent (T: +***0) in which she stated: “Kindly note that the tracker car guard feature has an error ,our Engineers are aware of the fault and they are still busy resolving the matter . Note: again, no apology, no indication as to how long I was to be without ability to activate via the app, no suggestion as to alternative activation options and no information as to whether or not you were talking responsibility in the event that my car might have been ****** whilst unprotected and thus the subject of a claim on my insurer And, I suggest that her response was wholly inappropriate/insufficient in the circumstances And still no come back Also on 14/6, I received a further email from Tracker Leads (following a further comment in the Hello Peter review) stating that: “A Platinum Desk consultant will be in contact with you shortly. This contact has not transpired either On 15/6, I received a further email from tracker leads (following yet another comment from me in HP) and was again advised that: “A Platinum Desk consultant will be in contact with you shortly. And this contact has also not occurred In the process of the above comms, I informed you that I had emailed you with issues back in February and that you had not responded to same Now, two weeks after lodging my negative reviews, I’m in the same situation: still waiting for responses and action on your part So, it seems clear that you only pay lip service to customer issues and do nothing to resolve Meantime, although I was able to activate again on Tuesday 15/6, the App remains cranky with at least a 90:10 ratio between problems experienced and smooth activation or deactivation functioning I have taken some screen shots of some recent negatuive outcomes of attempts to activate/deactivate which I can send in (and refer also my Feb email in which I also included examples) I could probably put together a least 20 issues arising from the cranky performance of the app but am not going to spend the time doing so if you’re not going to react appropriately You should note that, simultaneously to this mail, I have mailed my car insurer to record your failure of 13 June and to ask where I stand as regards my cover when you fail to provide the protection that I pay for. It is a condition of my policy that my car must have a tracker unit and that it must be activated when I park the vehicle away from home. Thus, your failure and the consequent inability to activate has put me at risk for which you are responsible Your failure also begs the question: how many of your app using customers were negatively affected over that weekend – in short: were left at risk with you not caring enough to do anything pro-active for them?. Ironic that you call the product/service that I have subscribed to Tracker Care. And, I also expect you to provide me with information covering: - Why the app failed over that week end - Why you failed to inform me of the issue and failed to provide information on alternative actions to keep me covered - Why you gave no information as to how long the app functionality was going to be on the blink and whether it would be safe to use the vehicle during the failure period - What the extent of the f - What you actions will be in the future should the app fail again If I do not get an early response with acceptable explanations/information and resolution (meaning a totally hassle free service going forward), I will be lodging a complaint with WASPA And, PS: an apology would also be appropriate
Meantime, your Itikeng sms'd me yesterday at 1540 and asked me to call him on *** which I did at approx 1615. He had already gone home. His colleague Nipho took my details and sent Itikeng an email advising him of my call and included a request to call me today after 1500. As of now (1600) he has not called and i suppoozse he's about to knock off for the day so another day goes by without meaningful response/action from you
