Tracker Connect, way past pathetic.

On the 9th of July 2020 i phoned Tracker Connect and spoke to a person named Nomaswazi Sibeko, regarding my cancellation of the tracker subscription for the tracking unit that was in the second hand vehicle which i bought from a dealer. I sold the car and no longer need Tracker services. I explained to her that i sold the car, therefore i no longer the tracking service. She said there was a cancellation fee, but according to my records, i have not on paper or verbally agreed to any fixed contract with Tracker and i need for them to provide proof, should they disagree. She promised me that someone would get back to me regarding this within two weeks (pathetic). I asked her for a reference number for the call and she said that there is no reference number, i can just use her name as a reference. Until today I had no response from Tracker Connect whatsoever. Just to be sure, on the 10th of July 2020, i also emailed a a Mr Percy Baloyi who initially sent me some documents regarding the Tracker unit, also explaining in the email to him, that i sold the unit and i do not need the tracker service anymore. NO RESPONSE. I subsequently put a stop on the debit order, seeing that no one cared to respond, and guess what? I very quickly received a sms stating that a stop was put on the debit order and that i need to pay the arrears. Quite clear where their main interest lies. On top of all this, during the time i had the vehicle i had an issue with the Tracker unit draining my car's battery. I phoned them and explained the problem. They promised a technician will contact me in the next 4 days. Guess what? I am still waiting for his call. My advice: Avoid Tracker like the plague.
