I reported my hijack incident on Friday the 20th February 2026. On following Tracker on Saturday, we were told that we cannot be updated on status of the vehicle due to security precautions as well as possibilities of compromising the investigations but promised that an update will be provided. On Sunday 22nd Feb 2026, we followed up but same reason was provided. It is now more than 7 days since the disappearance on the vehicle. The first sms came on Saturday the 21st Feb morning at 01h06 and the second one came only on Saturday the 28th Feb 2026 at 9h00. Despite the vehicle being covered by Tracker since 2022, and as a loyal client for more than 25 years, no single call has been received from Tracker, let alone a courtesy call just to check if I was well since this trauma. I have also noted that they have been using a multiple brand (in some cases its Tracker, Tracker Connect and, in some cases, Skytrack). As a client this is concerning, and even other involved parties are worried about this quietness. Is this what we pay for? I guess someone was right that it looks like a money-making project. On connecting to the app, it also shows no vehicle connected since the incident. You never know whether the system has been compromised or it was a deliberate disconnect from Tracker to conceal my access to the system. I have been the one calling tracker to check if there has been any progress. So far, we don’t even know whether as soon as it was reported they were able to locate it and it disappeared after, or they never got to locate it at all. I just imagine the worst scenario if the assailants took me with the vehicle and never dumped me on the way. Would my family be relying on this kind of service? Then, as a client, what is the purpose of the app? And what am I paying these monthly debits for? I am very disappointed with Tracker and this cannot go forever.
