Tracker connect and the popi act

I don't have a problem with tracker per se, but I need to install their app to track ny vehicle. In order to use the app they want full access to my phone's location, all my contacts on my phone, all media and documents, my phone camera and they want the rightro make calls from my phone. Can someone please wxplain to me why they need this? If I give them access all the contacts on my phone and they do access it I am in breach of the popi act. What is your business with any document on my phone or media on my phone? There is not a single document on my phone that will help you track my vehicle. Why do you want to make phone calls from my phone or use my phone's camera? If someone stole my vehicle it most probably means that I am not in it. Why do you need my phone's location? I am quite fed up with apps asking permissions whi h they should not need to function and do what you want ro install them for. So what is your business with what is going on on my phone? If you cannot explain this to my satisfaction you can remove the tracker and there is no contract between us, since it was only mentioned when I installed the app ... an app that, after more than 3000 reviews has a score of 2.7
