Tracker charged 41% more on monthly subscription. Check your invoices

Good day Tracker,

It is now a week since I've sent the email attached below, and I've not received any response from you.

In this time I have spoken to someone that is on the same package as me. They were charged the usual R85 while I was debited R120.

Please assist in resolving my query.

Regards,

Sherwin

Begin forwarded message:

From: Sherwin ********** />Date: July 30, 2016 at 04:49:27 GMT+2
To: ********** ********** />Subject: INV ********** 931???

Good day Tracker,

Could you please explain how my monthy subscription went from being R75 per month when joining last year to R120 this month? I ignored the fact that it increased by R10 to R85 a few months after joining as I was advised of the increase, but I'm now being charged R120?

First of all, I was not notified of my price increasing this year. Which means that I'll be assuming that there's a billing error on my account where you have overcharged me by R35. If R120 is your price going forward, I'll have to consider taking my business elsewhere.

To go from R85 to R120 is an increase of just over 41%. At that rate, I'm scared to see what I'll be billed in the coming years. Chances are I won't stick around to see it.

I feel that you already know that this increase is ridiculous and that's why you never mailed your clients advising them of it. You're hoping that we don't check our invoices and so that you can continue with your monthly debit order in the hope of us not noticing. Well I've noticed!!

I'm now an unhappy customer, but I'd like to give you a chance to retain me as customer. I would like you to reply to me in writing to this email address.

I'll refrain from making my complaint public by posting on social media(Hello Peter, Facebook and Twitter), with my main focus being "41% price increase with no notification". I'm not a #TrackerMustFall kind of guy expecting no annual increase, all I'm asking is that you notify your customers and be reasonable with your increases.

Regards,
Sherwin

Good day Ghitte,

Thank you for your assistance today.

You were very prompt, professional and informative.

The price increase was due to me changing my car insurance. This broke the discount agreement between Tracker and my previous car insurance provider.

Regards,

Sherwin
