I bought a BMW X5 in September 2015. My battery started showing 'high battery drain' in April. So I took it in to BMW to have the problem attended to. They found no faults on the vehicle. Battery Centre tested the battery and found it to be 100%. I was told that there may be a tracking device on the vehicle that could be draining the battery.

So I called up tracker and asked them to check if there was a tracker uinit on the vehicle. The call centre agent verified that there is a unit currently installed on the vehicle but it is was deactivated.

So i asked her to send someone out to remove the unit. She said it would cost R395 which I paid into Trackers account on the 22 April 2016. I called back on 26 April to query about the removal since I received no further feedback. I was then told that there's no Tracker unit on the vehicle. So I spoke to a Shaun Steyn who happenes to be the Customer Services Supervisor & he assured me that they would refund the R395.

It is no 18th May 2016. I'm still waiting on my refund.

Absolutely disgusted at the way Tracker is giving me the runaround.

I will NEVER EVER install a Tracker unit in my car simply due to their incompetence.
