Pineapple tracking device is ruining my credit profile!

I’m being taken to debt collectors by Tracker cos I stopped insuring my car with Pineapple. I had no idea it was a 36 month contract and I’m liable for the account once I leave Pineapple, who requested the installation from Tracker and was paying a monthly fee cos they wanted to track my mileage and only told me the tracking device was for that. I’m so confused and I’m being taken to debt collectors for a service I didn’t request. Mind you I’ve been paying my own tracking company as well. I kept on telling Tracker I don’t have an account with them, nobody bothered to explain it’s due to Pineapple and the tracking device. You need to sort this issue out cos it’s all a surprise. I don’t even know where to start with payments or who to contact. This is bad!
