Not honouring installation appointment and not treating follow up requests for installation with urgency

I’ve had the worst experience with Tracker today. I was scheduled to have a unit installed today at 11AM and no one pitched, I did not receive any courtesy notification of this. I called their call center at 15:00 to urgently get someone to install the Tracker as we need to be on the road in the morning by 7am. The agent told me that they have escalated my request as am urgent installation request and I should receive a call shortly to arrange for an installation today.

Fast forward to 16:55, I call to follow up and there’s no update for me. I speak to another agent who also promised to escalate the issue. I explained that I need this done by 08:00 latest. It will delay our trip but we need it done. The agent tells me that the best she can do is send an email and the reason I haven’t received a response is because people have knocked off. She also can’t promise me a morning installation as technicians may be fully booked tomorrow.

I’m in disbelief about the lack professionalism from Tracker. How they did not honour an appointment and refuse to treat my case with the urgency it requires.

If it wasn’t for their insane contracts that lock you in for 36 months with zero care for extreme circumstances like your being written off, I would pull out of all my contracts with them right now and head over to Car Track. Unfortunately I’m stuck with the for 36 months, no matter what the circumstances are.

I’m appalled!!
